Universal Hospice provides terminally ill patients who have been diagnosed with 6 months or less to live with in-home comfort care to enhance their quality of life.

We offer pain and symptom management as well as supportive therapies wherever they call home.

We understand the effects that disabilities/illnesses/injuries have on patients and their families, and do everything we can --from office staff to our nurses-- to support patients and families.

We tailor our service to meet the individual needs of each patient, placing a premium on compatibility between nurse and patient (and their family).

Universal Hospice has an understanding and appreciation of the multilingual, multicultural community that it serves and has the staff and nurses to accommodate specific needs.

Our Mission

Universal Hospice provides an individualized program of comprehensive, quality care that is patient and family-centered and addresses their physical, emotional, spiritual and practical care in the last phase of their life-limiting illness.

Family / Patient / Caregivers

Neither hastens or postpones death; hospice affirms life and regards dying as a human process

Using an interdisciplinary group approach of physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers, spiritual and bereavement counselors, therapists, volunteers, homemakers and others, Universal Hospice provides continuity of care consistent with hospice personnel responding to the needs and goals of the patient/family/caregiver in relation to the terminal diagnosis, culture, environment and level of care needed.
